Planning a garden • L.Schneiter
In 2012, we plan to retire to the Pilar de la Horadada area and will have to think about how to landscape our plot of land. Having lived in Spain in the past, I would like to avoid the mistake many people make of planting trees and plants that require a lot of water and care. We intend to plant mostly plants that are indigenous to the region or are at least drought resistant. I have found two very useful books on the subject of gardening in Spain
Your Garden in Spain - from planning to planting to maintenance by Clodagh and Dick Handscombe
Mediterranean Garden Plants - A comprehensive guide to over 350 plants by Lorraine Cavanagh
